This is Mark Johnson, from Scotland Road way. A best friend who I met in Probe Records one day when I was buying a load of cds, in the very early 90′s, which I remember including both a Monkees album and a Buffalo Springfield one. He worked in the old Probe which is now where Ted Baker is and we got to know each other, directly because of the records I was buying, and then we started hanging out together. And Mark was always a laugh to hang out with. He liked every type of music under the sun and was one of the most enthusiastic people you could ever wish to meet. He also liked dancing and it was 15 years ago today that he died on a dancefloor. Or should say he died a couple of hours later in hospital and I was there in the hospital and it wasn’t nice waiting. He had a weak heart. He also had a big heart and we’ll be out in town tonight celebrating that fact and having a drink to his memory. This ones for Mark aka Probey.
Never realised this was one of your photo’s fella, it’s a great picture. Met him a few times in probe and he was always the friendly one who said hello.
