The Liverpool Empire’s pantomime Peter Pan starring Henry Winkler has come to a close which is a bit sad because Liverpool really did seem to take to spotting him out and about in town. The show also caught the attention of those from outside of the country and this is another piece of international press that includes the show. I previously posted a note about the show, along with my photographs, being posted in the New York Times though I only found out about that because of this version of the story. I got a call at like 7.30 in the morning from a lady in a press office in Hong Kong working on behalf of the International version of The NY Times and could they use the photos again for the International Herald Tribune? She then sent me an email with a French address on it so I reckon that’s proof enough that you’re working for an international newspaper. For me the honour was to see my photo being used as the lead pic from the the production shots from other pantos but more importantly it’s just great to see the Empire’s panto getting serious international press.
